Definition / description
The continuum as a closed loop draws a line through itself at right angles to the edge. This is the fundamental differentiation, and its location or position around the circle is not defined. From any point of view, it can't be seen or localized.
But it is always present. It is an interpretation of the twist, which can never been seen from a "local" perspective.
