Definition / description
The ORIGIN project was conceived almost 50 years ago more or less in the same terms we are defining today -- as a common reference framework and common origin or zero-point to index and balance interdependent global processes. Back in those days we were working with a portable typewriter and a stack of file cards, and photocopies of book excerpts we created at the local university library. Today we have a high-bandwidth internet connection and an online SQL server database to contain and organize our ideas. But perhaps remarkably, the origin vision remains at the center. The origin is the master-principle for developing global homeostasis.
ORIGIN is the common ground for global homeostasis.
The world should be defined by and governed by a homeostatic democratic process aligned by feedback from everywhere, including every issue, following a common law and a common ethic, and the common ideal of convergence into "the One".
This is the master-principle for the ideal self-governance of humanity. It is "the perfect form" -- it is a master-plan for the realization of wholeness and oneness and idealized collective decision-making for the welfare of the whole.
