The SelfCom Environment

Is SelfCom real, or just a sophisticated form of entertainment? For that matter, is life all a game anyway? Could our mortal presence be so insignificant? Was William Shakespeare just blowing air in "As You Like It" when JAQUES said "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages."?

The fact is, we really do not know for sure. No one has proven beyond a shadow of physical doubt any theory that explains our being in this life. Any speculation about such matters is meaningless without some method of verification anyway. But we all must live it. Life IS.

To understand life it is not necessary to pay or bow or scrape or dig or anything else. Life is Life. You grow to understand it by living it consciously. If understanding is low in some area, so what? Life is still living. You are still in it. You do not need the "correct" or "perfect" or "only" model of existence, you just need one that works.

All possibilities are present. The world actually is a stage, in a vast and complex way, but you do more than just act. You choose the script in your mortal experience. You direct too, by your Will. The show is your own life in this world! You are as much a star as you choose to be. Much of this is just a simple awareness of perspective.

Addressing questions of self, it becomes necessary to have a clear look at things on a scale big enough to leave a lot of room for maneuvering. It is necessary to build a model of life that is big enough to allow freedom but structured enough to be safe, sane and useful. In essence, you need a functional cosmology that is not connected to a big rulebook or a collection plate.

SelfCom furnishes such an environment. In it, you are introduced to the Greater Life from several perspectives. Here you have an experience done in seven levels. Each level of accomplishment builds a foundation for the next.

The SelfCom Level Icons

An Icon represents each level of accomplishment in this manual. An over-all understanding is conveyed by the symbolism of them.

While each icon is different, all seven icons have three elements in common. These common elements are the Base, the Golden Expression of Light, and the Flexed Golden Triangle. Notice the Icon picture at the beginning of this section. You see a tan oval that serves as the base. You see a pale golden burst of color upon the base. Finally, a flexed golden triangle is on top. The first thing to learn about SelfCom structure is an explanation of these three common factors.

The Base of the icons represents the Unfathomable Depth of the Source. This is the place where everything comes from. It is not unfathomable because we are stupid or primitive, or anything like that. It is unfathomable because it is very different from what we know as life and reality. The Deep can be visualized as solid Love. This is not the Love of emotions and feelings. This is the State that conducts Will in the creation of Life. It is the most solid, most clear and most responsive state imaginable.

An individual human being is only a small (but Eternally important) shard of this vast Life. Even the greatest human mind cannot conceive awareness on that scale. Human beings compare things to understand them. The Source of All is not open to this type of understanding. There is nothing to compare everything to. We do not know why Life is expressed from this unfathomable state, but it is. This we know because we are here as a result of it. Through Love, the Source expresses Will. By Will and Love, Life is born.

The Golden Expression of Light is also beyond what we can know in our current form, almost. It is very vast. Our entire universe is but one small expression within it. There is one thing, however, that is known about the Golden Expression of Light. It is composed of Love and Will, which are Living expression and Living intent. In an Eternal expression, these factors create the One Life that all being shares. That is the Golden expression of Light. It is the entirety of all life in any form, taken as One Life. Contained within the Golden Expression of Light is the template of all there is and all there ever can be: All, in One. There is no time in it, only expanding Life. All possibilities of Expression are here, including our physical universe. It is called the "Cosmic Consciousness", the "One Life", the "Life Force", The "Sea of Life" and many other things. Within its substance and workings, every possibility exists.

The final foundational element to all levels of SelfCom is the Flexed Golden Triangle. Here, at last, is something a person can get a solid grip on. It is a bit abstract at first, but it is knowable after a little bit of brain use, and some practice. The Flexed Golden Triangle is where SelfCom happens. The Flexed Golden Triangle represents the realm of individual life: Yours, for example.

From the three foundational components, three other components come into play. These three are:

1. Self, represented as a sphere

2. Environment, represented as a pool of illuminated water

3. Interface, represented as a shaft

These three elements combine to symbolically express a human being.

It takes quite a while to experience each level of SelfCom completely. It can take years to finish SelfCom exploration, if you want. The more you develop the skills and thoughts outlined, the more you will get from it. Each level opens like a blossom. Read, apply, read, try more stuff... Haste is definitely not necessary. Take your time. SelfCom is used properly when you take information from this manual into your daily life and test it.

Read it through once to become an Explorer of the Greater Life. Then do the entire experience as a whole, to become a Pioneer of the Greater Life. Enjoy the journey. Each Level has its own flavor and its own character. Enjoy them for what they are. Watch them each individually, as you keep a detached eye on what they represent together.
