Skillcraft is a Tool
An overview of Skillcraft helps to anchor it as something tangible. What you are dealing with here is a method of focusing yourself. While the practice of Skillcraft is an activity, Skillcraft itself is an advanced system of beliefs. Because it is a structured activity, you can master it. It is an object in that sense. It has structure and form. It is functional.... like a tool. Skillcraft is a very general and interesting way to accomplish things.
In a way, Skillcraft could be compared to computer software. Software is a tool used to help make some form of activity easier... like writing printed material if it is a word processor program, or expressing artwork if it is a graphics program. Software is actually kind of an object. You install it and use it. It stands as something apart from the things around it. The user understands it as being a tool. It is not a solid thing. It is more of a concept. But it is not just a concept either. It has a definite physical aspect.
So it is with Skillcraft. You have to install this tool yourself. Skillcraft is not a solid thing as objects go. It is only real in the Inner Reality. It is an element of your inner make-up that you develop according to your own liking. It s substance and form is something you provide within you.
An interesting thing can be observed. Skillcraft, and word processors, and even a screwdriver for that matter, all have something in common. They enhance an ability that already exists. The user of a word processor must decide what to write, then the word processor makes the job easier and of higher quality. The user of a screwdriver must know which screw and in which direction, then the screwdriver makes the job possible. As a user of Skillcraft, you must identify something that you want to know, experience or have. This can be something as minor as having lunch, or something as major as realizing your Source. Having done this, Skillcraft makes the job of getting it easier and more fun. Ambition is required in this. You need just a little, but a lot works even better. Get into looking at things as something you can use Skillcraft on. To do this, look for things in your life that you would like to improve.
Any tool represents both an opportunity and a burden to its user. The opportunity is the freedom given the user by the power of the tool. The burden is the knowledge and skill the user must have to make the tool do what they want. The fact that a tool is only as good as the person using it is widely known. So you see, as with all things, there are different aspects to the reality of a tool. The physical tool is only a symbol for the job it does until somebody starts to use it. The Inner Reality of the tool is the user of the tool. The user of the tool is the Life of the tool. The tool, no matter how good it is, or how useful, can only express the will of whoever is using it, in accordance with the state of their ability.
To Install Skillcraft, you just make a decision to do it, and keep with it. Decide to start mastering Skillcraft, and then do so until it is a habit. Once your decision is real, you can explore the use of Skillcraft without limit.
When you apply Skillcraft, you have a specific type of connection to the life you are living. You are sharing in a particular kind of way. By Skillcraft, you add your life to the life around you. Whether by attention, action, or contemplation, your life is in a sharing relationship with what you are mastering.
The growth produced by sharing always happens in two directions. It grows outward, and it grows within. The growth outward expands into your physical life. This affects the things around you. The growth inward adds to you personally in the form of experience. You will discover in this process that your inner growth directly affects the growth in the physical life that you share with others. In the life of mortal living, you become deeper as you consciously experience more. Note here that more can mean either greater diversity, or going deeper into a specific thing, or a combination of the two.
While, as an Eternal Being, you know full well that no experience is unknown, in the mortal life you probably have forgotten this for the most part. Things are on an entirely different platter in the mortal world than in the realm of the Eternal. An Eternal being cannot add life to Life. Only the Source of Life can do that. But as a being in time, you can most assuredly add life to living! There is no end in sight to how much life you can add to your living. That is what Skillcraft is all about.
By adding your attention to your living experience, you provide more inner space to live in. By adding your conscious life-impulse to it you supply more power to the living experience. Thus you broaden the base from which you draw information and decisions as you live.
Part 2 - 6
Reaching Goals
Skillcraft is one of those things that work really well with the life you currently have. You can apply the technique of Skillcraft to what you are already running. As you practice Skillcraft in your life you add life to it. Thus you grow in power and in scope.
Skillcraft is also an activity that you can apply to new things, like exploring the unknown or embracing a new challenge. Include the Frequency of Truth in the choices you make. This will begin to heal your desire. Such an approach to the subject of Skillcraft is, for one thing, a novel method of getting what you want. This will be dealt with in detail right now, in Level Two of your SelfCom experience.
Skillcraft is a clean way
Observe:
Have you ever noticed that a lot of times if you strive to get something, or by some means you accomplish a desire, you find that it is not what you wanted after you get it? A lot of goal-oriented practices have this problem. It doesn t matter how good you are at getting from point A to point B if a smooth journey is all you get at the end, with no gratification. There is obviously no sense in going someplace if you do not want to be there once you arrive. The problem is, when the goal is in the future, you cannot see enough of it to know if it is what you want or not. You can see what you think you want, but that is almost never what you get. Often your efforts become spoiled in some way and, sometimes, your life is worse off for your efforts.
Skillcraft provides a comfortable solution for this. For that reason it is a good idea to get a closer look at what happens while you do it. In comparison to other goal-oriented processes, Skillcraft is a completely different method of getting what you want. The common methods of getting what you want fall into two basic approaches. These practices could be labeled as "timetable" and "resource" based methods of goal acquisition.
The timetable approach puts the goal in the future, and breaks the path from now to then into steps. The person running this method then takes the steps, checks off the list, and goes merrily to the goal.
The resource approach locates people and resources that will make the goal happen. Then, through a process of planned coordination, they build the goal.
The flaw in both of these practices is that the person doing them has a very limited view of all the conditions involved in what is happening. This may seem a bit vague, but give it a thought. As a person sets out for a goal, they begin at a point some distance from where they want to be. The distance is not necessarily just a matter of space. The distance is also in time, and in physical objects. Stated simply, the distance is all the things that must change before the desire is fulfilled. The person using the standard methods has the job of choosing which steps or resources will best fill the gap between the desire and the goal. The perspective is very limited because the participant is immersed in his or her own time-stream. They can only see the goal, and the path to it, from one angle. As the plan proceeds, different aspects of the resources, procedures, or the goal itself are revealed. Things change. The whole process becomes dependent upon the coincidence of things that are out of the control of the person seeking the goal.
Such limitations on distance-based practices of winning a goal are not all bad. Some of these methods are good stuff. Focus and attention get a good workout in making a plan and sticking to it. There is good character building there too. This is all excellent material for building confidence and power. You will find, in fact, that you can get amazingly good at it if you keep it light and active. As long as you feel good inside, and you see progress in the direction you want to go, you can have a good time. However, as a Level Two Commander, you are an explorer. Yours is the task of peeking into other ways of making things happen.
Part 2 - 7
Reaching Goals With Skillcraft
Skillcraft uses the Frequency of Truth for goal acquisition. The Frequency of Truth does not come from time or matter. It is an aspect of the Greater Life. This forms the basis for a completely different approach to getting what you want. The entranced people of the world, who see only their mortal perspective, have a lot of trouble getting started on this. However, as a Level One ascendant, you already can imagine that you are Eternal, and therefore not mortal. This necessary condition gives you the opportunity to delve into some of the ways Eternal Beings get what they want.
To look at a goal without attaching any weight to it takes a little Skillcraft (conscious effort). Most people are in the habit of automatically connecting a goal with how hard they think it will be to get it. In Skillcraft, these two components are left completely apart. In fact, the whole idea of "what it takes to get there" has to be dropped off. It is replaced by an inner certainty that the Frequency of Truth can furnish what you want. Your certainty is the key here, and the primary governor of success. Use Skillcraft on your Faith here too.
There is no reason not to try getting the hang of being sure, without having a tangible reason. It may sound impossible at first. Most people have to have a whole list of reasons to feel sure about something if they are to accomplish feeling sure. Therefore, the first ability to develop in this method of goal acquisition is to find ways of being sure about things, without attaching physical standards to your certainty. You walk a fine line in this. Give room for lots of playing around here. You are looking for a way to be sure about the outcome of a physical activity, without drawing your certainty from physical indicators. Instead of trying to be sure about your progress, you are to use faith in knowing that the Frequency of Truth can, and will, deliver what you want. Progress in this activity will reveal itself as a feeling that "things are moving in the right direction".
Even at face value this is not as far-fetched as it may seem. If you have done much work with goals, and achieving them, you probably have already learned that even your best plan can fall apart at some point anyway, and those involved are left to wing it. This is so common in fact that a plan is basically little more than something to do while what really is going to happen comes down. A plan puts activities in the ballpark, but it should never be mistaken for something concrete. Even if it goes without a flaw, there are frequently unexpected results that may or may not fowl the effort in the end. Plans have a poor record of performance; despite the fact that they are about the best thing anyone has managed to come up with until now. It is your role as a Level Two Commander of SelfCom to pioneer a new way. You take a completely different approach. You use timeless methods of goal acquisition.
In SelfCom exploration you use faith and imagine that what you want is already in your life. This is a special kind of imagining. It is modeled by your intent to get what you want. It is definitely fun and light to play with this kind of imagining. When you first begin doing this you run into a paradox. Your external life denies the existence of what you are trying to achieve, but in SelfCom exploration you are supposed to be certain of the achievement on the inside.
This could put you in the position of having to make something real that to you is not real at all, in your life. But there is an easy solution to this. Contemplate the fact that the known absence of an object or event is just as much evidence for its existence as its presence is. In other words, if you know something could exist in a place, and you can see all of the places where it could easily fit in to what is around you, then you see the absence of something that exists. If the presence of an object can be seen as "positive" evidence of its existence, then its absence could be seen as "negative" evidence of its existence. Every indication you can find to reveal a place where the object "is not" helps to make it more real. The more you think about it and define its place in your life, the more real its presence becomes. Keep your emotions out of this completely, if you can. Use your mind only to perform this type of Skillcraft.
When you see a need in your life, you are seeing an empty space. It is a place where something should be, if you are to feel whole. This can be a big thing or a very minor thing. Wholeness is wholeness. If a spec of your wholeness is missing, your wholeness is as truly "not whole" as if half of it is gone. Degrees of inner wholeness are valid in how a person feels, but in the overall view of needs and wholeness, one need works the same as another. If something is missing from the wholeness, a need is in its place. A primary function of the Frequency of Truth is to help you unwind the knots, confusion, and misconceptions attached to your desires, and show you the route to balanced satisfaction.
Keep the examples you use minor for starters. This is not intended to be anything more than an exploration of the Waters of Life. Make it light and have a good time at it. Also, keep notes on places you discover where the object of your desire "is not". This is just for the experience actually. It is only necessary to write it out if you want to give it some extra fuel. To do the notes on this, select a specific need in your day, and identify the places where you can recognize its absence. Another way of looking at this is to say that first you identify something you want, then you begin identifying the reasons why. Do not just sit in a chair and think about why you want something. Live your day and notice these places as you pass by them. You will find places for the object of your desire in the Inner realm, and the physical realm. Live your day normally. As you see a manifest reason for what you desire, you identify it as such.
Your next step in getting the hang of this technique is to build a good idea of how something could be present in your life without being visible. There is a specific way to go about this.
First, know that all life exists simultaneously, and that, if seen from the proper perspective, the potential for any manifestation exists at any point in any space or time. Use this hypothesis to set the environment of your attitude. This will not precipitate your desire, but it will set the stage for opening the possibility of new things happening in your life. This point of view is a bit too general for practical use, however, no matter how true it is.
To further focus your desire, use your imagination. This one is a lot more fun and it is also a bunch easier. You base this part on your certainty of the Frequency of Truth. You know that the Frequency of Truth is connected to all life and all manifestation everywhere. You built the basis for this certainty in Level One. It is not necessary to know exactly how this is true, but it is necessary to know that it is so. Forget trying to consciously imagine that the Frequency of Truth is real. You already did that. Now you can take that for granted as a foundational part of your life. Focus instead on your certainty in the ability of the Frequency of Truth to deliver clues that will lead you to what you want. From there, getting what you want is a simple and fun frolic in life.
Inner certainty is the most important thing in this type of goal seeking. Your certainty in this is so important, in fact, that it should be addressed as a special type of skill. In SelfCom, "certainty" is not something you manufacture, it is something you just have and take for granted. Certainty is what you have when you jump and know you will come down. Certainty is what you have when you swallow and know that the food is on its way to your stomach. Certainty is what you have when you squint into the sun. You are certain about something when you can accept its presence without questioning. You know without thinking that gravity works. You know almost instinctively that your mouth is hooked to your stomach. You know the sun is bright. Of these things you are certain. This is the type of certainty you bring into SelfCom exploration. Bluster and bluff will not work. It is necessary to develop ways to be truly sure on the inside.
Here you run smack into the face of Faith. In Level One, you learned that Faith is similar to imagining. It has another very important ingredient. Faith, used in the context of what you are doing when you accomplish a goal, is imagining mixed with the knowledge that you are imagining something that is actually real.
Face your day knowing that what you want is already yours. You know the places in your life that are empty without it, you know that the Frequency of Truth can deliver it to you and you know that it is just as real in its absence as it is in its presence. It is only obscured from your view. You live each moment looking for clues of it. Remain open minded at all times. Look for clues that will reveal the object of your desire. Keep a sharp eye. Be diligent. When you see a clue, follow it. Stay on top of it as best as you can. You can imagine yourself as anything you want. You can be a hero, you can be a witness, you can be a child, and you can be just you. Be whatever you want while you follow the path of clues to your goal. It is just as valid to be "up" and aggressive as it is to be alert and purposeful. Slow or fast, actively seek clues that reveal what will fill the need that you have identified.
