Part 3 - 2
A Challenge
Conscious activities in the Waters of Life can be loosely imagined as surfing. It is not so much that the activity is physically like its nautical counterpart. Its just that surfing seems to catch the spirit of it. When you imagine yourself as being immersed in Living Waters, and in motion through time, you are in a very perceptive state of consciousness. You can begin to "see" all kinds of things. You see feelings. You see implications more clearly. You can even begin to see the living fabric that joins every form of life together. This seeing does not happen with your eyes. This is your awareness within. You see it in your mind. The vision is built in your imagination. If you were to try describing it, you may have to include aspects of all your physical perceptions. That is why it is important to imagine what is real frequently. This is not fantasy. This is the creative use of imagination, where what is imagined models what is real.
The imagination, the sixth sense.... the common sense, is the collection house for your physical perceptions, and your home within. Here you ride the living moment and process your experience.
Perceiving life on this level is very complex to verbalize. Different people will interpret their perceptions in different ways. In general, however, you will find that conscious swimming in the waters of life will tend to "lift" your awareness and your perceptions in some way or another.
Part 3 - 3
Working With Desire
The material covered in Level Two builds a particular type of model for exploring your desire and its gratification. Now, in Level Three, you have seen a glimpse of the Inner Reality and learned a method for swimming in life's waters. It is time to combine the skills of goal acquisition through the Frequency of Truth with your skills of moving through the waters of Life.
When you are consciously involved with being immersed in the waters around you, and you are aware of your own waters, you are using Skillcraft on the moment. The moment is not where you sit in a chair and look around at the clock ticking and the plants growing. The living moment is your driver's seat as you cruise through time. From the living moment you observe and direct your life. Using Skillcraft on the moment is an action sport. By actively riding the moment and being aware of the blend around you, you become very aware of yourself and the stream you are in. You become aware of options. You see clues that lead you to the object of your desire... to the things you want to have or the things you want to see happen. You become acute to the still whisper of the Frequency of Truth as you are led to satisfaction.
This is not the perverted and confused satisfaction of those who look at life through dark eyes. This is the rich and clean satisfaction of knowing that good awaits all those who would reach out and take it. There is nothing wrong about having... or satisfying... desire. You are alive in Life. What you do to satisfy your desire will be reflected back upon you in the form of experience. This is sort of a round-about way of saying that what you sow is what you reap, or what you feed is what grows. Make sure you satisfy your desires in Level Three exploration in a way that shows your highest concept of conscience and accountability. Weigh all the factors you can imagine, and keep frequent contact with the Frequency of Truth. You are exploring new waters. You enter deeper waters now, as you include others in your SelfCom exploration. Observe in innocence. Keep the waters clean in your Level Three practices. Muddy water is difficult to see through.
There are a few guidelines you can use in understanding the satisfaction and gratification of your desires as you live your experience in SelfCom. To begin with, you are one of many human beings on this world. When you address gratification during SelfCom it is important to keep things on the right track. SelfCom deals in part with healing from within. This is an aspect of the Inner Reality that all people in Creation share.
At this point, it is necessary to remember that you deal with two completely different aspects of reality in your daily life. The one aspect is composed of the objects and events that happen outside us, and the other is the Inner Reality. While both have their existence in the space-time continuum, they are, from our perspective, two completely different places. Mapping the Unseen revels that the inner reality causes the outer reality.
In the outer reality, it is ludicrous to think that what you do to others you do to yourself. Obviously if you pick up a person, you remain on the ground. You are not both lifted by your effort. But the Inner Reality does not work the same as the outer reality.
The components of the reality within (thoughts, feelings, inspirations expressions& love& and things like that) grow in sharing. The more you give out these things, the bigger they get. This principle is true whether the inner components are good, or bad. The darker aspects of living grow in sharing too. If you ever get the feeling that your life stinks, it is a good time to look and see how you treat people in your thoughts. Whatever you have in your own Inner Reality, you share with others. As others pick it up, it grows and spreads.
The whole idea of "holding something up within" is crucial in SelfCom Level Three exploration. All gratification in SelfCom Level Three must be examined in this way before action is taken.
Holding something up is a process. As with all SelfCom processes, it uses the imagination. When you hold something up, it all happens inside you, in your imagination. It is like a directed daydream.
Begin by relaxing. This means just shut off all the noise in your mind. Have a good deep breath of air to begin the process. Let it out with a relaxing sigh. Get comfortable. Still your mind. Don't get bogged down on this part. Keep it quick. Analysis is not necessary here. Just get a good concept of shutting off the noise in your mind instantly. Without delay or process, stop the noise and get to what you are doing.
You do the same thing all the time when you enter into a daydream. You are already a pro at this skill. You just need to get a handle on it. Right when you enter a daydream, all of the other noises in your mind cease. The daydream gets your complete attention. It is the same thing here, except you are deciding beforehand what the daydream is going to be. If it helps, observe yourself when you daydream spontaneously. Use yourself as a study reference. Take specific interest in the very beginning of the daydream. Notice how it gets started. This kind of activity will give you additional insight into the process being discussed here.
Okay. You have the mind quiet and attentive. Now imagine the desire you are planning to satisfy, and imagine the people who will be affected or involved. Imagine the role each one will play. Dream the whole thing. Imagine that you are experiencing what they will experience.
Your objective in this exercise is to explore the consequences of your actions before you actually undertake the action itself. Choose your path to gratification consciously. Select the paths and methods that will create in others the kind of feelings and thoughts that you yourself want to live in.
This process is called "holding a desire up". The procedure is complete when you are satisfied that the gratification you seek will produce a desirable effect in the waters around you. If you cannot reach a path to your gratification that does not wash with the people around you, choose another one for the purposes of Level Three exploration. Keep things moving during the mission. There will be plenty of time to explore, perfect and specialize after you finish.
A great opportunity stands before you at this time. By exploring your desires you have the chance to get a very rare and close look at basic elements of your nature. This is good. Do not be afraid of what you will find. You will find good when you look for it. Just sort of play at it. Keep very light about this. If you want to get heavy about your thoughts, save it for some other time. For the period of SelfCom exploration, keep light and alert. Use things that do not drain your energy. If an activity is making you feel sluggish or uncomfortable in any way, do it a different way, or pick something else.
In this manner you find yourself. In this process you reveal to yourself your own true nature. Be open to this learning. You are a much better person than you think you are. There is no conceit in this. People today just have not yet realized the extent of their inherent value.
